Introduction to Film Photography and Darkroom Processing
This workshop offers an immersive experience into the almost lost art of film photography. Led by our certified art teacher passionate about traditional photography, campers will embark on a hands-on journey exploring the art and science of film photography. From mastering the operation of SLR cameras to developing negatives and printing photographs in the darkroom, participants will gain valuable skills and insights into the fascinating world of film photography.

Ages 7- 11
Camera-less Photography
Join us this summer for an exciting and creative journey into the world of camera-less photography! Our Summer Art Camp is designed for budding photographers and artists aged 10-13 who are eager to explore the fascinating techniques of cyanotypes, photograms, and pinhole cameras. Over the course of one week, campers will delve into these unique photographic processes, discovering the magic of creating stunning images without the use of a traditional camera.

Anything But A Canvas
Choose from skateboard decks, metal plates, wood shapes, or bring your own unique piece to paint on. Let your creativity run wild and create something truly special. 'Anything but a Canvas' workshops, kids will learn various techniques such as acrylics and mixed media. Our certified art teacher will guide them through different styles and encourage self-expression through colors, shapes, and textures. Themes could range from landscapes and still life to abstract art, allowing campers to explore their interests and preferences.

Digital Photography Workshop
In the digital photography workshops, kids learn the fundamentals of photography using digital cameras. They discover concepts such as composition, lighting, perspective, and storytelling through visual imagery. Practical exercises and photo walkabouts allow campers to capture scenes from their surroundings, encouraging them to develop their creative eye and technical skills.
