Alternative Photographic Processes Workshop: Photograms
May 21 | 6–7:30
PM
Discover one of photography’s earliest and most magical processes—creating images without a camera. In this hands-on workshop at Lenses & Brushes, participants will explore the art of the photogram using light-sensitive paper, found objects, plants, textures, and experimental materials to create one-of-a-kind prints in the darkroom.
Perfect for curious beginners, artists, photographers, and anyone drawn to creative experimentation, this workshop blends photography, design, and discovery. We’ll cover the basics of darkroom safety, exposure, composition, and processing while encouraging playful exploration and personal expression.
Each participant will leave with a collection of original photograms and a deeper understanding of this historic alternative photographic process.
