Digital Photography Workshops
Our Digital Photography Workshops cater to everyone, from beginners wanting to learn the basics to advanced photographers eager to refine their skills.
Photo I: Mastering Your Camera
The Photo I Workshop is aimed at those taking their first steps into photography. This introductory course covers essential topics like camera settings, composition, and lighting. Students engage in hands-on exercises to practice their skills in real-time. For instance, participants will have the opportunity to take over 100 photos during the workshop, applying what they learn immediately.
By the end of this course, participants will know how to use their cameras effectively and gain confidence in framing shots and telling stories through visuals.
Photo II: Beyond Basics
For those who have completed Photo I or have some experience, our Photo II Workshop offers an opportunity to enhance skills.Take Your Photography to the Next Level
Our Photography II Workshop Series is designed for those who are ready to master their camera in Manual Mode. This three-part series explores lens use, composition, lighting, and guided photo walks—all with hands-on support. Get ready to sharpen your skills and shoot with confidence! The Photo II Workshop encourages individuals to cultivate their unique style and voice. They will receive constructive feedback from both peers and instructors, motivating them to push their creative boundaries.
Saturday Youth Photography Workshops
We believe that nurturing creativity in youth is vital for the future of photography. Our Saturday Youth Photography Workshops are designed for young photographers between the ages of 10 and 18.
In these workshops, participants will learn the digital photography basics while engaging in creative projects that encourage teamwork and personal expression. Activities include outdoor photo shoots and interactive group challenges.
Our goal is to ignite a passion for photography in younger generations. We help them develop technical capabilities and appreciate the beauty in their everyday surroundings.
The Last Public Darkroom Experience
In addition to our digital workshops, we proudly house the last public darkroom available for rent. This facility provides an authentic experience for those passionate about film photography and darkroom processing.
Film Photography Workshops
Our Film Photography Workshops are perfect for individuals eager to explore the rich, hands-on world of analog photography. These workshops introduce participants to various aspects of film, from shooting techniques to developing methods.
During these sessions, attendees learn how to load film cameras, select appropriate film types, and experiment with different darkroom techniques. Participants will gain an understanding of the chemical processes involved in developing their film prints. It’s a way to appreciate the art of photography that has stood the test of time.
Darkroom Processing Workshops
After capturing images on film, photographers need to bring their pictures to life. Our Darkroom Processing Workshops guide participants through developing their film and making prints. In a supportive environment, attendees receive expert instruction on navigating darkroom processes.
These workshops cover everything from mixing chemicals to using enlargers, teaching participants how to produce high-quality prints from their negatives. Engaging in these tactile experiences connects photographers to the transformative aspects of creating images without relying on digital technology.
