In this relaxed two-hour Gather & Paint workshop, we’ll explore whimsical insect illustrations using expressive ink lines and soft watercolor washes. Guests can choose to work from a lightly printed insect template or use it as a starting point for adding their own details and personality.

We’ll focus on breaking insects into simple shapes—circles, ovals, and lines—then layering watercolor to bring them to life with color, pattern, and movement. This class emphasizes play over precision and is welcoming to all experience levels.

No drawing or watercolor experience is needed. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a finished insect-inspired piece that feels imaginative, expressive, and uniquely yours.
